Mission Statement

"For the Love of Oceans!" Corps is to be a 501Ce (faith) organization dedicated to strengthening the grassroots advocacy voice for ocean preservation policy in the USA and Internationally through the Maritime Community by developing youth and adult education and writing programs and by forming Youth Initiative groups.

"For the Love of Oceans" is the organization lead by Captain Donna Lange, who after sailing solo around the globe via the Capes and Southern Ocean, is now passionately working to promote the engagement of the maritime youth and adult community in developing critical thinking skills, then using what they learn to effect change in their community and nation through joining the grassroots voice throughout their community and the world. "For the Love of Oceans" will do this by development of facilitating presentations, publishing youth editorials on an activist specific website (youth4oceans.org), and advocacy educational partnerships with maritime clubs and educational programs, public school programs, on-board yachting networks, world-wide publishing.'For The Love of Oceans" youth and adult constituents will join with the urgent voice around the world passionately declaring that the preservation of the biodiverse, healthy oceans is most vital to a healthy macro-ecosystem able to sustain life for future generations. Our lives depend on the Ocean!
